The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 143 was founded in 1942. It has its own membership, and the organization is a separate entity. However, it works collectively with American Legion Post 143 supporting Legion programs and services such as helping with veterans in need, supporting youth programs within the community, and also participates in various patriotic events throughout the year.
Membership Eligibility
Grandmothers, mothers, sisters, spouses, daughters and granddaughters of men and women who served on active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States anytime after December 7, 1941 and died in the line of duty or after honorable discharge.
And those woman who of their own right are eligible for membership in the American Legion.
Regular Membership Meetings
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month beginning at 6:00pm in the Carroll County Veterans Building located at 1790 Stripling Chapel Road, Carrollton, Ga 30117
